These Salon events are a shared experience with a chance to hear from some of our fantastic previous TEDxWellington speakers from previous years as they give an update on where they are in their journey / story:
- Nick Curry helped us all to think about and readjust our posture (watch his talk)
- Bernadette Casey, founder of The Formary, is an entrepreneur and textile designer with 25 years experience in the design industry (watch her talk)
- Clare Christian is currently project managing an initiative exploring the commercialisation of a tree nut that grows throughout Melanesia (watch her talk)
We will also be announcing some key details about this years main event so you’ll be the first to hear!
On top of all that, you’ll be watching a couple of hand picked TED talks and there will be crafted opportunities to creatively converse with other attendees through our facilitated challenges. This is your chance to interact with other TEDx fans and community members in Wellington and the wider region.
Everyone welcome – attendance is open to the public and not restricted to just those who have attended a previous TEDx event in the city.
Drinks and nibbles will be provided and tickets are limited to 100, so get in quick!
